Hilda Motion
Hilda is a motion design studio founded by the great Baboo Matsusaki based on years of experience and a generous creative vision.
The inspiration for the name of the studio came from Baboo's grandmother, a strong, dedicated and creative 90 year old lady full of life and energy. Once I knew about her the inspiration was clear: Her signature would be the starting point for this logo.
But having a starting point does not always mean a clear path and so my job was to translate this initial inspiration into a lettering strong enough to present and help Hilda tell stories. An expressive lettering that's as strong, lively and dynamic as Hilda.
The final result is a logotype that's calligraphic, gestural, distinctive and personal, worthy of an artist's signature.
